# Enigma AI

> Enigma AI is a private, mobile AI chat app that lets you use ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, and image-generation models anonymously. Prompts are stripped of personally identifying information and blind-routed; chat history is encrypted on-device only, never on Enigma's servers.

Operated by Dark Matter Lab, LLC (Newark, Delaware, USA). Available on iOS and Android. No account, email, or phone number is required to use the app. Free tier and Pro subscription (in-app purchase) are offered; payments are processed by the App Store and Google Play.

Key properties:
- Zero-knowledge architecture: no logs of prompts or responses on Enigma servers.
- Blind Routing: prompts are pseudonymised and rerouted before reaching upstream AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, DeepSeek).
- Local-only storage: chats live in an encrypted on-device database.
- Disappearing chats: stealth chats with an auto-delete timer.
- Anonymous image generation via GPT Image 2 (encrypted on-device vault).
- PII obfuscation and metadata scrubbing applied to outgoing prompts.
